1. Service Overview
Franchise Sites ("we", "us", "our") provides website design, development, and hosting services for small businesses, freelancers, and solo operators. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Plans & Pricing
We offer four plans: Free, Launch ($19/mo), Pro ($49/mo), and Premium ($249/mo). The Free plan is approval-based and not guaranteed. Paid plans are billed monthly with no long-term contracts. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing customers.
3. Free Plan Terms
The Free plan is provided at our discretion. We may decline any application. Free plan sites include Franchise Sites branding and advertisements may appear. Free sites are hosted on our subdomain only. We reserve the right to remove free sites at any time with notice.
4. Content & Ownership
You retain ownership of your content, images, and copy. We retain ownership of the website design, code, and templates. Sites are not transferable — if you cancel your plan, your site will be taken offline. We do not provide website file exports.
5. Content Updates
Content updates are limited based on your plan level. Updates include text changes, image swaps, and minor layout adjustments. Updates do not roll over between months. Redesigns and new page creation beyond your plan's limits are not included.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or to publish content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or infringing on third-party rights. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove content at our discretion.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your paid plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds are provided for partial months. Your site will be taken offline upon cancellation.
8. Limitation of Liability
Franchise Sites is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. We do not guarantee uptime, though we strive for high availability.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify existing customers of material changes via email.
